EuroAustralis 2018

In 2015, our family of 5 embarked on a special voyage, travelling between our home countries of France and Australia, by an overland route from Europe through Asia and south to Australia.

To find out more about our 2015 journey you can visit this page.

The EuroAustralis website was created in our attempt to capture and share the experience with our family and friends.  We'll be adding to this site for our next adventure.

So, having completed that voyage, we settled into our new life in Australia.  Back to school, back to work, and back to the journey of life.

Now, in 2018, an opportunity has come to undertake another epic family voyage.  This time to discover our home country of Australia.

Our plan is to pack up the 4WD, hit the open road and off-road trails on a journey around the country and into the vast interior.  3 months exploring Oz – driving the red dirt into our geographical heartland, visiting mining and oil & gas landmarks of our industrial heartland, and experiencing life in remote aboriginal communities in our cultural heartland.

In all, a 10,000km+ overland learning journey.

We’ve always loved to travel – for the life experiences, for the understanding of other countries and cultures, for the inspiration, for the unexpected and for the people we meet along the way.  While our 2015 voyage took in countries and cultures from half the globe, this time round it's all about a deep dive into one special country - our home.

Welcome (back) to EuroAustralis.  In these pages, we will share our experiences, photos and occasional videos.  Thanks for joining our adventure.
